Yes the U.S was justified in declaring war against Mexico because the relations between the two countries worsened. The U.S freed Texas as an independent state and Mexico had no clue that they were free which worsened the relations between the U.S and Mexico and the U.S insisted that they should form the Rio Grande border over Mexico
Yes the u.s justified in declaring war for Mexico and Texas because the Americans kept trying to take over the area. The Spanish tried to keep them away but that did not help
The U.S. was justified in declaring war against Mexico because they offered them alot of money and paying off their debt in turn for New Mexico and California and they just refused to discuss it.
No ,did the u.s justified in declaring war against mexico because they did want to fight the mexico and at the end they was a team and they traded also .
The u.s was not justified in declaring war with mexico because the u.s didn't have proper justification to respond with the violence against the Mexican government.
no because we didnt want to go into dept and they also werent ready for another state because of the union between the southern and northern states from fighting over if it would a slave or slave free state
The United States was not justified in going to war with Mexico the United States did not have proper order to respond with violence against the Mexican government.
I dont think it was Justified. I mean I kinda thing that the US was just being greedy. Mexico just had a war and they wanna swoop in and have another one. And on top of that, they didnt need to go to war. They should of just left it alone. Everything was fine. They wasted million upon millions of dollars and their time and to top it all off they sent their men to the death to fight for something that was better off being left alone.
They were but they were not.....it goes like this the Americans wanted more land and i can understand this but they didn't need to take it by force they needed to figure out a peaceful solution not the way they did it.
i think we were justified not because we wanted the land but because they were intending to reclaim Texas for Mexico, so we sent troops to make a fort. The Mexicans then attacked us.
I think that the reason for the U.S going to war with mexico was bad because the united states of america shouldn't try to bully somebody just because they don't want to sell something to them. But also the U.S thought that california and new mexico was there's so they probably thought they should fight for it so that's probably a good reason for going to war
the united stats was justified in declaring war against mexico because the relations between the two was bad and when the united states freed texas it worsened the relations even more between the two
I think the U.S. was justified in declaring war. I think this because the us had a legitament reson. The Mexican government had put unlawful taxes on american goods and people.
Yes the u.s justified in declaring war for Mexico and Texas because the Americans kept trying to take over the area. The Spanish tried to keep them away but that did not help
