The embargo was a bad idea because it wiped out all american commerce with other nations and it was also ineffective to the british because they traded with latin america for agricultural goods.If they were to pass this law today we would still have some things like crops and cars but we wouldn't have cars from countries like germany and other countries. Also, we wouldn't have other goods and possibly foods from foreign countries that we trade with today.
the embargo act was a bad idea because it hurt the Americans when it backfired
the embargo act was a bad idea because it started war with tripolli and took a lot of americas money away. If the act was passed today our contry could be in danger.
Prohibited trade with other countries it was bed because we couldnt get the resources that we needed.
It was a bad idea because it prohibited people from trading with other countries. If the act was passed today, we wouldn't have the many resources we have now.
The embargo act was a very bad idea because the act destroyed trade with all country's and cost the county a lot of money. If some thing like the embargo act was imposed today we would loose many of our products from places like Walmart who gets alot of their products from places like China
The embargo act was a bad idea because it prevented them from trading with any country. If a law was passed today preventing us from trading with any country we would not have any imported or exported goods from foreign country's. IT would also be bad because it would limited us on our supplies.
