One invention that helped productivity is a light bulb. It was invented in 1812 by Sir Humphry David. He was an english Scientist. It helped because when that came out, people could see better in the dark. Before this, they had to use candles.

BRAILLE
Louis Braille (Jan. 4, 1809-Jan. 6, 1852) made a better coded system of dots used by the blind to read. He was blinded when he was a kid and made his fantastic system in his early teens. In 1829, Braille also made "The Method of Writing Words, Music, and Plain Song by Means of Dots, the Blind to use and switched around by Them." It was called Braille, is still in use around the world today. Louis Braille is buried in the Pantheon in Paris, as a French national hero.

The introduction of the Spinning Mule into cotton production processes helped to increase the industry alot. Then It Later Improved Porductivity in the u.s becuase It made more cotton more faster and the Mule Was getting around by 1830s. It was the biggest invention in the cotton industry.

Something that was invented in the early 1800's was a light bulb. It was invented in 1812 by Sir Humphry Davy. He was an english scientist. It helped because now people could see in the dark, instead of using candles. Candles would burn out. Now they could work when it's dark outside without having limited time and little light. Light bulbs last longer and are brighter than candles.

One new technology in manufracturing that improved the United States is the lawn mower. The lawn mower was a set of blades with two wheels. It improved productivity by it cuts the grass when golf started to became popular. Instead of using animals, which the animals could die and you would not have any way to make your grass shorter.

It also came as flat sheets not in a roll. http://www.angelfire.com/rebellion2/inventions1800/toiletpaper.htm/ this made people more productive because toilet paper cleaned your butt so that you butt wont itch and you can run faster work harder and use more of your legs

One of the inventions in the 1800's is a gas stove. A gas stove was invented in 1802.Some of the improvements are like using biomass so we can cook our food cleaner. Gas stoves are improvements to factories because they can sell more stoves and they can cook food for people. The improved gas stoves use natural convection only.

A new technology that made it easier in manufacturing in the early 1800s was like the cotton gin. It made it easier to pick cotton and separate the seeds from the cotton hulls. When this product became more wide spread in the South. It made people more productive because with the major slave labor involved, making it faster. Also cotton became a major cash crop, even more than tobacco and the south soon became more dependent on the export of cotton.

Also a cast-iron plow made it easier. It cut the time in half with the interchangeable parts and much more quicker to fix and cost less than regular wooden plows to fix. This made it easier to harvest the plants, and it took less time to get it making it faster to get to market and selling it for profit.

In 1838 the electric telegraph was invented by Charles Wheatstone and Samuel Morse. A telegraph uses electric signals to send messages across continents and oceans. It improved productivity because you could send messages in a farther distance and let them know if something bad was happening or if you just wanted to send a message. It worked slowly, but it was still better then having someone walking a message to you.
