The outcome was that many people called it the stamp act all over again also very many people were arrested.

The outcome was people didn't like that whiskey was getting taxed so the assaulted one of the taxes and George washington called the milita and they got arrested

A leader from the militia group got shot to death by troops. Everybody who refused to pay got arrested, but we're eventually released by President George Washington.

Some people protested and threatened tax collectors. After the Whiskey Rebellion was over, whiskey was still subjected to tax.

The outcome of the whisker rebellion is that the farmers made George Washington call a militia.Another thing was that the government raised taxes to the farmers and the people ans so they went on strike or a riot to stop the government from taxing them.So the government felted bad and stop the taxes!

The outcome of it was that tobacco and liquor were taxed because when Pennsylvania taxes collectors meet and talked, and somebody was shot trying to protect a tax collector.

The outcome of the Whiskey Rebellion was that the people that got arrested, were either excused from it or they were not accounted for the actions that they had done. The tax was repealed and the breweries weren't having to shut down due to the lack of money to pay taxes and the payment of people west of the Appalachia's were able to use Whiskey as form of payment without putting more hardship on the people getting payed the Whiskey.

The outcome of the Whiskey Rebellion was tax collectors being attacked by farmers when eventually the militia and George Washington had to step in end it.

The outcome of the Whiskey Rebellion was that since no body would pay the tax, and people were rioting and assaulting the tax collectors, George Washinton had sent a militia to deal with this trouble. Some of the rebels and their leaders were thrown in jail, but later were let go because there was not enough evidence or they were found not guilty.

The tax on whiskey was compared to the stamp act. Tax collectors were often assaulted. During the rebellion many arrests were made. Most people were pardoned or found not guilty.

The out come of the whiskey rebellion is the strengthended the authority of the goverment when George Washington brought up 13000 thousand troops. to western pennsylvania he showed the us that he wasn't playing and he means business. He scared away the rebellions and proved to the rest of the usthat he means serious bussiness and it strengthened the authority of the goverment.

the outcome was that lots of people were aresened and gulty.Back roads did not want to pay it and did not want to work to be a tax colecter.they said it was the stamp act all over agin.there was lots of fights.

It was basiccly another tax on something that people need/wanted......people where not satisied so like shayes rebellion, came the whiskey rebellion, farmers got together and would harass the tax collecotrs and soon milita took care of the farmers........the tax was eventually lifted to.....That was basicly the whiskey rebellion.

The outcome of the whiskey rebellion was that both the government and the farmers who were taxed for whiskey put aside their differences in a way, the government stopped taxing the framers for whiskey. All who had been sent to jail for abusing tax collectors were later found not guilty.

The Whiskey Rebellion in my own words is, That people loved to use whisky. so then George Washington put a tax on the Whiskey. And the farmers got mad. When the tax collectors came to get the money from the farmers the farmers assaulted the collectors. and George Washington got the Militia. And then all the farmers were found to be not guilty.

George washington and about 13,000 men went and stopped the rebellion but even though the militia won they removed the tax.

The outcome of the Whiskey Rebellion was George Washingtons militia of 13,000 soldiers to arrest many people who didn't pay the whiskey tax. Later on the people were not guilty and were pardoned, or forgiven. They then put the tax back on liquor and as well as tobacco. This was the outcome of the Whiskey Rebellion.

whiskey was becoming more popular than tobacco and farmers started farming more for money until the government put tax on them. the farmers started rioting and attacking the tax collectors.sooner or later president george washinton found out and he put a militia together and went into battle. the tax was stoped then set into action again.but after the civil war.the same thing with tobacco

The Whiskey Rebellion was an uprising in 1794 by 3,000 settlers in Pennsylvania.It was first real test of the new United States.The tax was about 25 percent of the price of a gallon of whiskey. The purpose of the tax was to help decrease the national debt.

the income was that people were not paying taxes so they got arrested but the judge said they would be let free. Then the put taxes back on alot of suplies that people use on a daily basis.

It angered a lot of wheat farmers because all there extra money went to taxes for whiskey. The tax was supported by large distilleries. The Whiskey Rebellion was further fueled by anger among the Western frontier farmers about unwanted governmental intrusion into their lives

The rebels had dispersed, and Lincoln's troops pursued them to Petersham, where they were finally routed. Shays escaped to Vermont. Most of the leaders were pardoned almost immediately, and Shays was finally pardoned in June, 1788.

The president Washington won. Excise tax on whiskey was to stand as law. The significance of the Whiskey Rebellion, in the broad sweep of history is that it proved the viability of the Federal Constitutional Government of central powers. To put it in plainer words, Washington determined that the government had the right to pass law and the right (and resolve) to enforce those laws. He demonstrated this through his actions during the Whiskey Rebellion

The whiskey rebellion was a tax on whiskey and the farmers and the people did not like that so they formed a mob and attacked the millita and the goverment had to step up and do something about this and he sent out 1300 people to take care of the and he won people were arrested and the tax stayed but right after the war on whiskey there came Tabbaco

The Whiskey Rebellion began in 1791. This was a tax put on whiskey because a lot of people were using it, but in 1794 it became a problem. Pennsylvania tax collectors began getting tortured, and in the end the tax was rebelled.

The federal government passed a tax on whiskey in 1791. And the farmers refused to pay the tax saying it was like the Stamp Act all over again.There was lots of trouble.Then finally George Washington called out the militia to put down the whiskey rebellion.

The outcome of the whiskey rebellion was that many Western frontier Farmers were upset. There were mobs that would harm tax collectors. This led to Federal troops having to protect the tax collectors. George washington Led a MiliTary Action, this stopped the rebellion. The tax remained. But this tax was only made To pay down the dept.
